Previous trips we have used apartments instead of hotels also in Barcelona. (first one was close to Rambla and not that good. Last one was in Plaza de Catalunya and same building as Hard Rock Cafe and it was absolutely great!!)
Apartement is always better if there are many people traveling. This time there were 3 girls and we decided to rent again. We had some problems also this time...They changed our place one time (even we had paid already) and do not even get me started about getting the keys. But none of these mattered when we saw our place.

Our window is on the 3rd floor, the open one. |

View from our window. Over looking Puente Visto, also know as Ponte Sisto. ;)

We totally fell in love with Trastevere!! Separated from the heart of central Rome by the river and our beloved Ponte Sisto. Trastevere is unique neigbourhood with beautiful narrow streets.
Often described as Bohemian, homes and terraces with flower boxes, coffee bars, restaurants, and one-of-a-kind boutiques. Buildings in terracotta and all the colours of the rainbow cast a glow, like a daylong sunset. Just so so beautiful area.

Even these look nice in Trastevere. :) |
It was easy to move everywhere from our place. It was mine and Kati´s first time in Rome. Hanna had been there once before.
There is so much information in internet but always easier to know which ares you like after you have actually been there. Next time it will be more easier to decide where to rent.
